Bacta-Pur® N3000

N3000ECOPROBIOTIC® that:

■Reduces ammonia, nitrites and nitrates;

■Reduces soluble phosphorous;

■Transforms wastes into natural and beneficial food for fishes, zooplankton and invertebrates;

■Clarifes the water.

Bacta-Pur® N3000 is a balanced community of bacteria, selected for their ability to nitrify and denitrify in fresh and salt water. It helps to reduce the soluble phosphorous, which has a considerable impact on freshwater systems. Bacta Pur® N3000 converts pollution into bacterial biomass, which becomes natural healthful food for fishes and invertebrates.

Bacta-Pur® N3000 contains a balanced community of beneficial and natural microorganisms, nitrifiers and heterotrophes, that improves water quality in freshwater and marine holding systems.  It has been used for many decades to control ammonia and nitrite levels in lobster holding tanks.

Treatment with Bacta-Pur® N3000

Starting a Biological Filter – Add 100 mL (approximately 1/2 cup or 3 fl.oz) Bacta-Pur® N3000 per 1000 L (approximately 250 US gallons) of tank water. Continue addtions of half dose daily until filter activity has stabilized. Small cold water systems, such as lobster tanks should have DAILY additions of 100 mL Bacta-Pur® N3000 per 200 L or  4 fl oz (0.5 cup) per 50 gallons of tank water until filter activity has stabilized.

Maintaining a Biological Filter – Add weekly 100 mL (approximately 1/2 cup or 3 fl.oz) Bacta-Pur® N3000 per 1000 L (approximately 250 US gallons) of tank water. Small cold water systems, such as lobster tanks should have weekly additions of 100 mL Bacta-Pur® N3000 per 200 L or 4 fl oz (0.5 cup) per 50 gallons of tank water.

Maintaining a Biological Filter with Fluctuating loads – Use BACTIVATOR® LSN or BACTIVATOR® AQN for automatic and continuous pre activation, growth and addition of Bacta-Pur® N3000.

All water sterilization equipment should be turned off during start-up of a biological filter.
